(e.) Twin Gabriel
From 1991 to 2008, Else Gabriel (*1962 in Halberstadt / Germany, lives in Berlin) and Ulf Wrede (*1968 in Potsdam / Germany, lives in Berlin) worked together as the artist duo (e.) Twin Gabriel. In the 1990s, they were primarily concerned with perception and visual communication in the age of media. Later works examined the representation of gender roles from political, philosophical, and art historical perspectives.
